What was the highlight of The Nest El Nido Beach Resort

Great location with great views from the pool and restaurant, staff are also very friendly and helpful.

The location is fantastic where it is a short walk away from El Nido town, but feels private and secluded away from the hustle and bustle. You basically have your own little private beach just outside the hotel if you don’t want to make use of the pool. The views are amazing! Staff are great, very quick and responsive to any requests, the complimentary tuktuk service too and from the town any time you need it is also really great. Rooms are big and spacious with good air conditioning.

The swimming pool was unfortunately out of service for a day of our stay and was also out of service prior to this when we had a look around prior to transferring here from another hotel in the area. The water didn’t look incredibly clean but improved once up and running.

Really liked the location, nice 5 min walk from the El Nido town center through the local village. Food was great, and the pool as well! The room was comfortable.

Feels like a heavenly relaxing bubble within the busy city

Everything is very clean and cozy decorated, I felt right at home and comfortable in the room. Pool area is really great- stunning views and comfortable sun loungers. You could tell that the place is still under construction and lots of corners and areas still not done. The tuktuk ride to the town whenever you want to makes up for the not so central location.

The beach directly at the resort is really rocky and not very inviting for swimming. Breakfast could have been a bit more special considering the fancy level of the whole place and given the high prices.

Very good location and charming staff

Food offering could be a lot better and non alcoholic drinks could also do some brushing up . Price of food vs quality is ok but not grear. Cocktails were amazing

The ideal nest for our stay in El Nido.

It is a lovely nice property. Rooms are spacious and each one has a lovely porch. Also, Ernie is a great host. For everything we needed, recommendations, advices etc he was always willing to help.

Let’s say for half the price it would be ok

It’s a pretty new place..

Signing the house rules reminds me more on camping ground in Germany then on a hotel in the Philippines No chairs in the room, so no chance to use the desk to do some work No proper coffee only this disgusting filter d as stuff If you ask for nearly 200 usd per night, you should be able to offer real coffee, even for a surcharge Beachfront does not mean beach access so if you like to go to the beach, take a tricycle or a motorbike because from the hotel you do not have access to the beach It is still a building side…so hang out on the pool, relax and read a book … forget it, mister I cut all this steel, is to busy even Sundays

el nido is a stunning location very helpful organizing trips island hopping trip was very good restaurant was good for evening meals free tricycle ride to anywhere you need to get too

as mentioned before your taxi can not drive to it as its down a small alley way for access power cuts breakfast not as good as evening meals

Bad value for money. Would not recommend.

The garden was lovely.

We booked this hotel for our final two nights in the Philippines on the basis it had a pool, and we also had seen the other positive reviews so thought it would be worth the splurge. However, we were really disappointed from the moment we arrived. The swimming pool area was under construction which meant the surrounding area was filthy and really dusty and workmen were there from before 9am. Regardless of the construction work, there is barely any room around the pool to enjoy it anyway and the beach in front is not nice at all. In addition, one of the neighbours was burning stuff for two days whilst we were in our room. This meant our room stank of smoke which followed us all the way back to the UK when we opened our suitcases. I appreciate that this isn’t the fault of the hotel, but if you’re paying £140 a night, you wouldn’t expect the smell to make its way into the room in the way it did. The breakfast was also terrible – the worst we had in the Philippines, which again was really disappointing given this is the most expensive place we stayed in. I didn’t find the staff to be especially friendly either, though that could have been because we were pretty annoyed with what we were greeted with. I would not recommend staying here.

The Nest was located a few minutes away from Town so great...

The Nest was located a few minutes away from Town so great pick if you don’t want to stay in the heart of town. Getting there is a bit tricky but they offer a pickup and drop off shuttle which was seamless. Rooms were big, comfortable beds and always clean. Staff were friendly and catered to all requests and queries. Buffet breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend The Nest!

The pool was under renovation during our stay which was a bummer but the staff were extremely accommodating and offered us a discount on our rate.

„Nicht für junge Leute

Das Hotel liegt außerhalb der Stadt. Bis um 22 Uhr gibt es Shuttleservice. Allerdings ist man ab 22 Uhr total alleine eingestellt. Wer ab 22 Uhr noch unterwegs ist, muss ca. 15 bis 20 min alleine auf einem gruseligen weg wo mehrere Friedhöfe liegen laufen um in das Hotel anzukommen. Dort dürfen leider keine Taxis fahren. Ich finde es sehr schlecht dass man den Shuttle Service bis um 22 Uhr einschränkt

„Tolles Hotel in El Nido!

Tolles Hotel in El Nido!! Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits vom Hauptstrand. Dadurch ist es dort etwas ruhiger als am doch sehr lautenHauptstrand. Trotz der etwas schwierigen Zufahrt zum Hotel stellt dies für die Hotelgäste kein Problem dar, da es einen kostenfreien Shuttleservice mit dem Tricycle gibt. Man kann aber auch zum Ort und zum Hauptstrand laufen. Vom Hotel aus hat mein einen tolle Blick anf die Bucht mit den vorgelagerten Kalksteinfelsen- das ist das Highlight! Es ist gut, dass man auch vom Restaurent aus uneingeschränkten Blick auf die Bucht hat! Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, sehr modern und sehr sauber! Das Personal ist sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Es ist etwas teuer, das liegt aber an der Gegend, dort ist alles etwas teurer als sonst üblich auf den Philippinen.

„Angenehmer Aufenthalt - Jedoch finde ich die Unterkunft etwas überteuert

Der Garten des Hotels ist sehr schön gepflegt. Der angebotene Transfer in die Stadt ist sehr angenehm und kann bis 10 Uhr Abends in Anspruch genommen werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gross und es findet sich für alle Geschmäcker etwas zum Essen. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist immer etwas unterschiedlich. Der Pool ist sehr schön - Liegt jedoch genau vor dem Restaurant. Man sollte sich daher auf ein paar neugierige Blicke gefasst machen. Im Angebot stehen auch Yoga Stunden, welche ich leider nicht ausprobieren konnte. Die gebuchte Island Hopping Tour war toll und es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Ja - Das WIFI ist langsam. Ich konnte jedoch WhatsApp, Facebook und Mail zu jederzeit nutzen. Die Weiterreise würde ich jedoch bereits im Vorfeld organisieren.

Ich hatte für meine Zeit einen Bungalow - Davon sind einige freistehend und zusätzlich gibt es Doppelbungalows (ohne Verbindungstür). Wenn man in einem Doppelbungalow untergebracht wird, hört man so ziemlich jedes Geräusch der Nachbarn. Dies ist bei diesem Preis nicht wirklich angenehm, weil man gewisse Geräusche einfach nicht hören will. Ich hatte einen Transfer gebucht von Puerto Princesa nach El Nido. Dieser wurde vergessen zu organisieren, somit konnte ich keinen Van gleich nach Ankunft meines Fluges nehmen. Ich musste 4 Stunden am Flugplatz warten, bis ein Van losgefahren ist. Eine Entschuldigung hätte mir gereicht, aber nicht mal diese habe ich erhalten. Zusätzlich zahlt man 100 Pesos mehr, als wenn man den Transfer selber bucht. Was übrigens sehr einfach ist am Flughafen.

„Ein perfekter Aufenthalt im The Nest El-Nido.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und für ein 3-Sterne Hotel komfortabel eingerichtet. Dies war für uns ein sehr wichtiger Punkt, da wir mit unserem kleinen Sohn (1-Jährig) reisten. Das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich und es hat immer genügend Früchte dabei. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilft, wo immer es nötig ist. Wir können das Hotel bedingungslos weiterempfehlen und würden es wieder wählen, wenn wir Ferien in El-Nido machen.
